DEAR BRENTWOOD Student Film Project

Driven by the mission of the Erase Racism organization on Long Island, "Dear Brentwood" the film showcases the lives of four Brentwood High School Seniors and their efforts to showcase to the world the beauty and depth within and around Brentwood.  "Dear Brentwood" a student-driven documentary will dispel stereotypic perceptions that surround the community of Brentwood, NY. The film aims to break the stigmas of the Brentwood community and showcase what Hope and Change look like through student eyes.

Artists and educators have teamed up to mentor four Brentwood teens in using photography and film techniques to showcase their journey to success in Brentwood.   We are eager to share Leo, Kayla, Destiny and Tyleah's journey with you.

The work presented this year by "Dear Brentwood" will be showcased by Erase Racism to support  their mission to transform and integrate communities.  We aim to showcase that no person's access to opportunity is limited by race or ethnicity.
